He works closely with university presidents, chancellors, conference commissioners, athletics directors, student-athletes, and national office colleagues to advance the collegiate model. Previously, he was Vice President of Academic and Membership Affairs and he served as Assistant Commissioner at the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
